Installation

1. Preparing
   1. There might be a need to adjust the fit of the part that connects to the shift linkage. Some customers found it necessary to sand down this part using a Dremel tool.
2. Sanding
   1. If you encounter a snug fit or resistance during installation, take a few minutes to gently sand the connecting part. Use a Dremel or similar tool to remove the dull finish until the part slides on easily. Be cautious not to remove too much material; a slight adjustment should suffice.
3. Testing
   1. Once you’ve adjusted the part, test the fit by attempting to slide it onto the shift linkage. It should now fit snugly without excessive force. Please note that our product might not work well with aftermarket “short throw kits.”
4. Final Installation
   1. With the adjusted fit, carefully attach the part to the shift linkage. Ensure it is securely in place and functions smoothly.
