MITA S2000 AP2 Center Console Drink Tray Cover

Description

With the age of the AP2 rising, the interior pieces can look a bit worn out. We have remade the drink tray cover to help with keeping the interior of your S2000 looking new. With a large piece being exposed to the sun, the plastic does wear out; though rather than replacing the whole piece like what Honda offers, we are releasing just the cover piece that can be replaced.

This piece will match the color exact to our own Center Console Switch Panels, in either Black, Silver, or CR Style Carbon.

Our Drink Tray Cover is a direct swap with your current piece. It is a direct swap with the original OEM drink tray panel. Please use appropriate screws and hardware to make sure the drink tray panel is properly installed.

Installation Guide:

Refer to S2000 AP2 Owner’s Manual:
Consult your S2000 AP2 owner’s manual to locate the instructions for removing the drink tray assembly from the center console.

Remove Arm Rest Retractable Portion:
Unscrew the two side screws securing the assembly and unclip the arm rest retractable portion to detach it from the center console.

Prevent Retraction of Original Drink Tray Cover:
Pull out the original drink tray cover and ensure it does not retract back during the installation process.

Unscrew Original Drink Tray Panel:
Locate and unscrew the six M2.5 screws securing the original drink tray panel to the center console.

Replace with MITA Motorsports Panel:
Carefully replace the original panel with the MITA Motorsports Drink Tray Panel.

Check Fitment and Gap:
Before securing the panel, check the fitment and gap to ensure a precise and snug installation.

Secure MITA Motorsports Panel:
Use the original M2.5 screws to securely fasten the MITA Motorsports Drink Tray Panel to the center console. Please note that some stock may use M2 screws instead. If your drink tray came with provided screws, ensure to use those to avoid damaging the mounting tabs.

Important Note on Screw Usage:
Please be aware that using incorrect screws during installation, resulting in damage to the mounting tabs, is not covered by our warranty. If your product came with specific screws, it is crucial to use them to prevent any issues. MITA Motorsports is not responsible for poor installation due to the use of incorrect screws.

Finalize Installation:
Once the MITA Motorsports Drink Tray Panel is securely in place, ensure all components are properly aligned and reverse the process to reassemble the center console.
